Oxford United have confirmed they hope to re-sign Watford forward Jerome Sinclair on loan this summer. Sinclair spent the second half of last season on loan at Oxford and managed four goals in 16 League One appearances, having spent the first half of the campaign with Sunderland on a temporary deal.
The 22-year-old, who is under contract at Watford until 2021, seems set to head out on loan again this summer and Oxford boss Karl Robinson wants to bring Sinclair back to the Kassam Stadium. “We’re still speaking to Jerome, so that’s where we’re at,” he told the Oxford Mail. “I imagine we will have answers soon.”
