Goalkeeper David Ospina is on the verge of completing a permanent move to Napoli, reports claim. Colombia international Ospina joined the Partenopei on a season-long loan from Arsenal last summer and has become a regular first-team fixture, making 18 appearances in all competitions.
The 30-year-old’s starting place has come under threat due to the return of Alex Meret but, according to reports in Italy, Napoli are still keen on acquiring the Medellin-born star on a permanent basis.

Negotiations are already understood to be underway between both parties and a transfer fee of around four million euros is said to have been agreed, leaving just the finer details of the move to be completed.
Ospina’s permanent move would bring an end to his five-year spell with the Gunners, having joined the Premier League outfit in the summer of 2014 from Nice for £3million.
