Former Italy manager, Arigo Sacchi claimed that ‘even Victor Osimhen would have struggled’ in what he described as a ‘soft’ performance from Napoli in the 4-0 defeat to AC Milan.
Osimhen missed the game due to a muscle injury he sustained on international duty.
Rafael Leao (brace), Brahim Diaz and Alexis Saelemaekers were on target for AC Milan in the game.

“Napoli lost because they lost those principles and values which, until now, had amazed everyone. Meanwhile Milan showed that the team, when it works, is always a winner,”Sacchi wrote in his column for La Gazzetta dello Sport,
“Here is the difference between the two teams: Napoli, leading the championship, has so far played football with great movement, great intensity and great speed. Against the Rossoneri these qualities were not seen.
“Spalletti’s boys started off at a slow pace, too slow. And so, by not putting their opponents under pressure with their pressing, they gave them courage.”
“Everyone will say: yes, but Osimhen wasn’t playing. So, let’s immediately clear up that misunderstanding: in this context, it was a Napoli side that was not very gritty, very slow and very predictable, even Osimhen would have struggled. And this explains that one player cannot solve the situation.”

Sacchi is tslking rubbish! If Osimhen had played Milan would hsve kept 2 or 3 men marking him and not freed up resources to attack as easily as they did.
Correct. Osimen presence alone is minus three to the opponent.
Hmm.Right observation.
Hahahaaaaa. Una eyes still close? Nan winning strategy to win forthcoming Champions league na im Spalleti do so oooo. Make Milan study or wound im players before the big stage match, better make him feign injury and poor start and play for this one, dey dem don kinda win am already.
Pure strategy…..lol why will they risk Osimhen for a league match in which they are leading by 16 points for the same team they will meet in the q finals of the champions league lol?
I firmly believe that Napoli will prevail against AC Milan, they(Milan) will learn the hard way and will be in for a rude awakening.
No Osimhen no party!!!!!
Thumbs up Sisterwoman Mercy. You said it all
