Victor Osimhen is expected to miss Napoli’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina on Friday.
Osimhen did not participate in training on Wednesday due to a muscular problem.
The Nigeria international only had physiotherapy and personalised work in the gym.
The 25-year-old has not trained with his teammates since sustaining an injury in last weekend’s 2-0 home defeat to Bologna.

Osimhen has scored 15 goals in Serie A this season, but has been affected by numerous injuries and absence due to the Africa Cup of Nations in January and February.
If he doesn’t make it for Friday, then it is likely that Giacomo Raspadori or Giovanni Simeone will step in as the centre-forward.
Piotr Zielinski and Mario Rui are also doubtful for the game after training separately from the rest of the squad on Wednesday.
Napoli need to beat Fiorentina to have any chance of at least qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
