SUPER EAGLES HANDLERS AND NFF if you have any ambition this is the time to be luring players like Eze and Olise and convincing them to join our cause. Be proactive
Having an English manager to coach the super eagles will help in luring most of our foreign borns who are majority English to turn up for Nigeria.
Having lived there for many years i know the mentality of the average English person, they love their own.You have to speak in their accent, you have to be from there better if your skin is white. They have so much unity and strongly connected culturally, anything outside Britain or better still English is hardly acceptable.
for instance, let’s have a Jamie Redknapp as super eagles coach trust me 75% of this English born will turn up for Nigeria.
This boys will hardly listen to Peseiro or one Nff member with a Nigerian accent.
We need to plan better success happens when you plan well.
Well said Brotherman Greenman. We can benefit from having an English coach.
Thanks @Ignatius Abo
What we need is just four good players (Goalkeeper, defender, midfield and striker) we don’t need all tom and dick players everywhere for instance during 2013 afcon that Nigeria won ,We had only four good players namely Vincent Enyeama ,Mikeal obi, victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike others were avarage players like ideye brown, Kenneth omerue Sunday Mba Efe ambrose and so on ,my point is that we don’t need every player, now what we need is only Eze and good goalkeeper
As for Eze, no way is he going to displace Foden and Bellingham in the England setup. He is now 24 and has only 4 years left to make his international reputation. As for Olise, he isn’t going to replace Saka on the right for England or Dembele for France. At 23, he also has 4 years to make his international mark. So also Adarabioyo, who at 25 is not playing at a fashionable team and isn’t going to displace England defenders at top teams that play champions league football. Or Ovie Ejaria, who after being injury-plagued finally realizes that as a championship player he wouldn’t make the England team and whose father is now lobbying Nigeria’s selectors.
They should learn from others like Nedum Onuoha who was doing ‘yanga’ to Nigeria and hoping for an England shirt that never came . Today he regrets his decision and wishes that he tried international football.
These ballers in their mid-twenties have up till the next world cup, after which they would be surplus to requirements for both Nigeria and England. Very few 28+ year olds get their first senior international experience at that age. Most players get their first senior exposure between 18-25.
Olisea is 21 not 23..
Correction accepted, at 21 he has two world cups before he is surplus to requirements, but he is also competing with Barcelona’s Dembele and Juventus’s Coman for the right wing. Both have that position locked down until the next world cup.
Coman at Bayern
I really don’t know what these boys are waiting for. The eze guy needs Nigeria more than Nigeria needs him, with Nigeria he can play at a world cup, same with olisa.. if he in the team before the Ghana game probably we would have qualifed.. I see alot of them changing their minds after witnessing the world cup from their TV screen
What a RECORD by GENERAL ROAH!!!
“I never lost a match by 4-0 to any team, during my five years as coach of Nigeria” – Gernot Rohr
Erstwhile Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr has openly criticised Nigeria’s performance against Portugal in a friendly in November.
The three-times African champions, led by Jose Peseiro were shambolic on the night, in Lisbon. Super Eagles started the game on a low note and despite improving later, they could not stop Bruno Fernandes from scoring a brace while Goncalo Ramos and Joao Mario scored once each.
Things went from bad to worse for Nigeria on the night, when Emmanuel Dennis missed a penalty to reduce the deficit. Peseiro admitted his team will have to improve to stand a chance of winning the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Reacting to the defeat, former Franco – German coach, Gernot Rohr said : “I watched the game against Portugal in Lisbon. I didn’t recognise my players at all. I wasn’t happy with how they played and the result. I never lost a match 4-0 to any team, during my five years as coach, he said to Osasu Obayiuwana.”
“Losing 4-0 was too much, we didn’t start well in the first half, we didn’t show good organisation and we didn’t pressure the opponent. It’s true the opponent has too much quality but like I said the first half was not good but the second half was much better,” Peseiro said to NFF TV after the game.

Morroco played without star players and they won. Today I was bitter because Nigeria is so full of talents.Shame to Nigeria players, shame to NFA, shame to the Ministry of sport, shame to those who use tribes and nepotism to ruined sport in Nigeria, and shame to any man or woman who celebrate mediocrity in our land. Devil of all manner will kill those who support brain dead leaders in Nigeria. God will finish anyone who mobilise against a better Nigeria. God will send His arm of nature to destroy those who put perpetual tears on the faces of Nigerians. In Jesus name.
