Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen and his SSC Napoli teammates have been put on alert for a more serious safety measures against the threat of coronavirus after the Serie A side’s President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, tested positive for the dreaded virus.
Napoli revealed on their official Twitter handle: “SSC Napoli.can confirm that president, Aurelio De Laurentiis has tested positive for COVID-19 followingg test on Wednesday”
Football Italia wrote: “Controversy is growing after De Laurentiis who tested positive for COVID-19 dined with other club patrons and did not self-isolate despite having symptoms.”

La Repubblica reported late Thursday night that one of the representatives of the 20 clubs at the Lega Serie A meeting on Wednesday had tested positive
for COVID-19.

Napoli thereafter released a brief statement on Thursday morning confirming President De Laurentiis was positive for the Coronavirus.”
De Laurentiis had some health issues last year and is in the agegroup to be considered at-risk, so it’s possible he will be admitted to hospital for observation and treatment.
