Victor Osimhen could be the first Napoli player to score in seven consecutive games in the three-point era.
Osimhen is expected to start for Napoli against against Sassuolo tonight at the Mapei Stadium.

The 23-year-old. is Serie A’s leading scorer with 17 goals in 18 appearances.
The Nigeria international has scored in each of the last six Serie A matches and could become the first Napoli player in the three-point era, since 1994-95, to find the net in seven league games in a row.
Osimhen scooped the Serie A Player and Goal of the Month award for January.

If he wasn’t capped by Georgia already. Boy, we could use a guy like that in the team! What he does for Napoli is what I thought Ejuke would do for Naija, but so far that hasn’t happened yet.

Interesting that you mentioned Ejuke as a comparison. I believe it is apt. The difference is Kvara dribbles with a purpose and releases the ball to teammates on time or cuts in to shoot. Almost always some sort of end product with him. Ejuke on the other hand just runs himself into cul de sacs and often loses the ball while ignoring teammates that are in better positions.
I’m truly hoping that his time in the bundesliga will help refine his game and that he’ll start delivering because the talent is undeniably there.
