Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been included in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week.
The Team of the Week was compiled and published on whoscored.com’s Twitter handle on Friday.
Osimhen returned from injury and scored a late goal for Napoli in their 1-1 draw at home against AC Milan, in the Champions League quarter-final second leg tie on Wednesday.
However, the goal was not enough as Milan progressed into the semi-finals 2-1 on aggregate.
It was Osimhen’s fifth goal in six appearances in this season’s Champions League.
His Napoli teammate Kvicha Kvaratskhelia was also named in the Team of the Week.
He still tops Serie A scoring chart with 21 goals from 24 league fixtures and has provided five assists.
Up next for Napoli is a tough League clash at Juventus on Sunday.

As much as i love Osimhen but not, warranted It should have been Haaland.
He didnt play in the first leg and I didnt see much of him in the 2nd leg. Dont know how this happened
How will you see his contribution when your village people have blinded your eyes from seeing good things rubbish
I will say Osimhen deserved the promotion because inspite just returning from injury and the fact that his Napoli colleagues were quite selfish in that game, not playing with him, he was still able to score a narrowed beautiful goal.
Everything is not insult, make your point may be we could see reason with you. Some of us are open to learning.
When a comment is laced with jealousy and outright hatred towards one of our own(osimhen) there is a tendency to lose control and insult the commenter…….. please forgive his emotional display.
