Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is in buoyant mood folowing Lille’s hard fought 1-0 win against Brest in their French Ligue 1 clash at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Friday.
Osimhen netted the winner for Lille in the 16th minute after he was set up by Jonathan Ikone.
It was Lille’s third 1-0 win in a row and they moved into third position in the standings following the home victory.
The 20-year-old has now scored nine goals and recorded three assits in 16 league appearances for Les Dogues this season.
The former Sporting Charleroi of Belgium striker is now third on the top scorers chart along with Metz’s Habibou Diallo.

Christophe Galtier’s men will now shift attention to Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League away fixture against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
