Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly apologised to Napoli head coach Rudi Garcia following his outburst in Sunday’s Serie A game at Bologna which ended 0-0.
Osimhen had the chance to put Napoli ahead from the penalty spot but saw his effort go wide.
He was then taken off for Giovanni Simeone on 86 minutes.
A visibly frustrated Osimhen was not pleased with the decision and directed his anger towards Garcia as he made his way to the touchline.

The Super Eagles striker made gestures at Garcia that indicated he thought having two strikers on the pitch would have been beneficial to Napoli in the closing stages of the game.
But reports from Calciomercato.com, via Football Italia, has it that Osimhen apologised in the changing rooms of the Dall’Ara immediately after the full-time whistle.
Up next for Osimhen and his Napoli teammates is a home clash with Udinese on Wednesday.
Napoli will hope to avoid going four consecutive matches in the league without a win.
Osimhen has not scored in his last four games in all competitions for Napoli.
However, he has scored three goals in the Italian topflight this season.

We sit-down de lookoooooooooo.
This could be the coach fault which is responsible for Victor Osimhen’s goalless games. Let God be in charge. All is not lost though. Victor Boniface (22) is banging in goals.
Victor Osimhen needs to remain Humble. Maybe the same as last season needs to happen where Giovanne Simeone came in and banged in goals albeit during Osimhen’s 1 month injury early last season when Osimhen was fit he came of bench for about 2 games. And banged in goals and had to bring his A game for fear of Giovanne Simeone taking his place in the starting line up. That kept Osimhen on his toes. I think the same needs to happen. As I said early last season Osimhen brings his best when there is stiff competition in the team. I think he should sit on the bench for the next 1 or 2 games to shake him up and wake him up. His is becoming too comfortable
When I said here last week that he Osimhen is becoming too relaxed nd feeling too big thinking he has arrived and some of you were still supporting him. I said the coache sported this attitude of being too comfortable at the beginning of the season and warned him about it. Now here we are he missed a penalty and was subbed off at the dieing minute yet he got angry and talked back at the coach.
I think he is thinking he is like Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo, Pele and the likes but he has not even stepped in there yet he is just on his way.
He should rather concentrate on getting his fitness back and work twice as more than he did last season
He has not achieved 10% of what these players I mentioned above has achieved. He needs to be humble and rather keep working even harder and stay focus otherwise may God not allow him be a one season wonder. I am praying for him so much that he comes back to his senses.
The problem is with his team mate , they are not playing for him again , he is the top striker and should be given ball to score no matter what but unfortunately his team tars not playing for him , everyone wants to score no matter how difficult thier position is !!
