Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has allayed fears about him facing a challange to be fit for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen who has bagged 16 goals and four assists so far this term for Sporting Charleroi missed training at Marcinelle on Tuesday morning which has given the Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr a bit of concern.
But the 20-year-old told Completesports.com he was in good shape, targeting another goal for his side as they aim to clinch a Europa League spot in the play-offs.
“Yes I missed training because I needed to rest well and take precautions, but I am fine now,” Osimhen told Completesports.com.
“We remain focused on winning our next game and seal qualification for the Europa League for next season.

Sporting Charleroi currently leads the Belgian First Division A Europa League play-off group A with 13 points from seven games ahead of second placed St.Truiden.
Osimhen is expected to lead Sporting Charleroi’s attack this Saturday when they face fifth-placed KFCO Beerschot-Wilrijk.
The 20-year-old is on a season loan deal from German Bundesliga club, Wolfsburg.
