Nigeria’s Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala is elated to get on the score sheet for Barcelona Ladies in Wednesday’s 6-2 win against Sevilla, reports Completesports.com.
Oshoala who missed Barcelona Ladies’ last four league games due to a hamstring injury netted a brace against Sevilla.
She last featured for the Blaugrana in the 2-0 away win against title rivals Atletico Madrid last month.
Oshoala only return to action last Sunday in a UEFA Women’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich which Barcelona won 1-0 away from home.
The Nigeria international took to the social media to celebrate the feat.
“Back with a brace….
(2 goals)….Alhamdulilah 🙏🏾⚽️⚽️,” she tweeted.
The forward who is on loan at Barcelona Ladies from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian has now scored seven goals in six league (Liga Iberdrola) appearances for the club.
The former Rivers Angels striker and her teammates will now focus their attention on Sunday’s UEFA Women’s Champions League second leg clash against Bayern Munich at the Miniestadi. They won the first leg in Germany 1-0.
