Asisat Oshoala got the only goal that earned Bay FC a 1-0 away win against Seattle Reign, in the US women’s league on Sunday.
Oshoala scored the only goal of the game in the 27th minute after converting a penalty.
It was her sixth goal in 21 appearances in the US women’s topflight this season.
The win took Bay FC to eight place on 28 points after 22 games in the 14-team league table.
After a successful time at Barcelona, where she won the league and women’s Champions League, Oshoala joined Bay FC on February 1st, 2024.
On her NWSL debut, Oshoala scored Bay FC’s first goal in the 1–0 victory against Angel City.
She was part of the Super Falcons squad that featured at this year’s Paris Olympics.
