The talented winger was a constant thorn in Boro’s side all through the encounter.
He came close to netting the winner late on when, after Tom Carroll’s shot had cracked against the inside of the post, the loose ball was just out of his reach.
The 22-year-old has scored one goal in three league appearances for QPR this season.

Make them give this guy, olishe and Calvin bassey call up now before we come dey beg them.these guys are ballers.we have our own Davis in Calvin basset that guy is the solution we need at L.back…let it be on record I said this
No doubt,Bright Osayi-Samuel deserves a chance. He is a winger like Ademola Lookman of RB Leipzig (Germany) whose application for nationality switch is awaiting FIFA’s approval. But the only snag is that we have a lot of options in that department.Name them-Ahmed Musa,Samuel Kalu,Samuel Chukwueze,Moses Simon,Noah Sarenren–Bazee,Henry Onyekuru and even Emmanuel Dennis.
Nigeria is always blessed with fast and skilful wingers. In the past we had Humphrey Edobor,Adokiye Amasiemeka,Segun Odegbami,Finidi George,Tijjani Babangida,Pius Ikedia,Peter Osaze Odemwingie,Victor Ikpeba,Emmanuel Amuneke,Friday Elaho,Victor Moses,Nnamdi Oduamadi and many more too numerous to mention.
However,it will not be a bad idea if Gernot Rohr runs the rule on Bright Osayi-Samuel to give us more options.
Hmmm, Calvin Bassey is a talent I really admire. Also Michael Olise. As for Osayi Samuel, although we have many good wingers, if he continues to impress, Rohr might be calling him soon.
Yes. Michael Olise(Reading FC,England),Calvin Bassey(Glasgow Rangers (Scotland),Bright Osayi-Samuel(Queens Park Rangers,England) are ripe for Super Eagles call up. All of them are eligible for Nigeria and do not need to file any application to FIFA for nationality switch.Although Olise has played for France U18 but the two games he played were non-binding games. Left back Calvin Bassey Ughelumba is eligible for Italy and England but I learnt he will be willing to dorn our green and white colours. Winger Osayi-Samuel had long ago pledged his international allegiance to Nigeria but our national team selectors have strangely been ignoring him. Now is the time to call them up and possible cap-tie them to Nigeria in competitive games even for few minutes. We should not wait for these European countries to show interest in them before scouting them for Nigeria.
Calvin Bassey will add to our options at left back and could act as back up to the duo of Jamilu Collins and Zaidu Sanusi in case of injuries or loss of form.
