Comedy.
Ban for what. If he lost his life in the attack, what will the authority say. When you fight an invader and overcome him, you should be praised. His efforts definitely would make the invaders have a rethink.
That was a self-defence but Turkey is a racist country which has no regard for Africans
From time immemorial, players are not allowed to indulge in fisticuffs or altercations with fans no matter who’s at fault.
Maradona, Cantona, DiCanio, Payet were not all blacks when they were punished for being involved in fights with fans.
Not everything is racism….!!!
Yes Bright can plead self-defence, but he shouldn’t think that will guarantee him any escape from any penalties thereof. The codes of conduct under which he is being charged were long written even b4 he started playing football
Sir, all the players you mentioned went over to the stands to fight fans but Bright was on the pitch (his territory) to DEFEND himself against an invader not a fan in the stands. Let’s be knowledgeable to critically analyse situations before comparing and passing our ‘sharia’ judgement.
Hahahaha….You talk about being knowledgeable yet you are saying things that are completely false….LMAOoo. Stop saying things you know nothing about.
Look here, let me tell you for free, even if the altercations takes place outside the stadium, by professional football players code of ethics, you will still face disciplinary actions.
Osayi charges at a fan who encroaches onto the pitch, throws the first punch, knocks the fan to the ground and follows up with more punches while the man is down…..and you claim he is “defending himself”….LMAOoo. He sure would need more than 1 lawyer to help him defend that stance in the arbitration panel to escape being punished….LMAOoo
Rules are rules and have to be kept. Osayi will not be the first and will not be the last. Defending himself or not, he will be judged by the code of conduct guiding player altercations with fans.
Osayi Samuel should have run away. Fighting is not good.
Osayi gather liver carry Fernabache and Trabzonspor for head like gala con dey do UFC for inside Turkey? Lol. He forget say he go still waka for road and these ultras fit jam am or even waylay am for street or bar with no Fernabache fan to defend.
Like @Dr. Drey, there’s code of conduct in every sport and players are expected to memorize it as they do all the rules of the game on the field. Even professional boxers are not allowed to fight any civilian in the ring or on the street, except a fellow boxer, no matter how much he/she is provoked.
U are so right @Kel. Players must respect code of conduct.
Osayi Samuel was kicked and punched on his way off the pitch by more than 40 fans whoever who actually took time to watch the footages properly in order to analyse it properly would have seen that I know I did and what I saw it was a pitch invasion and the fans were attacking players did not know what objects they had on them as they clearly covered thier faces to avoid been spotted. SOme people go just open mouth WÀaaaaaa! to attack Osayi yet it was an instinctive reaction from the lad Human instinct to protect ones self when in danger.. Nawa oooo! una too dey argue for no reason I believe Osayi will be fine he did what anybody in his situation will do whether a footballer or the man on the street.
Don’t mind the yeye parrot coming here to talk about code of conduct, maybe his Alzheimer’s is back for him not to see that Osayi was attacked and provoked. Wonder what he would have said if the scenario was deadly. So if person dey attack you Dr Dry, na so you go fold your arms abi. have told you to start taking your psych medications
You guys just said it all. My position was that Bright has every right to defend himself but oga just start to quote sharia law instead.
