Emmanuel Osadebe is itching to represent at the international level instead of Republic of Ireland, reports Completesports.com.
Osadebe, who was born to Nigerian parents in Dundalk trained with the Irish U-21 squad ahead of a friendly against Norway in 2015.
The 25-year-old was however not included in the matchday squad and he is still eligible to represent the Super Eagles.

Having joined English League Two side, Bradford City for an undisclosed fee recently, Osadebe hopes that playing for the Bantams can help him actualise that aspiration.
“Ireland’s not for me, I want to play for Nigeria,” he told The Telegraph and Argus.
“I’m still only 25 years old, and if I have a good season this year and then a couple more higher up, I know it can happen.
“I believe it will happen, and I hope that being at Bradford starts that process up and we keep moving up because the goal is to get a promotion.”

If you’re playing for Man .United,Chelsea or Arsenal, will you still opt for Nigeria?
If you want to play for Nigeria then you better get yourself into the Premier league and show your stuff there before we will consider you……This people think they can use Nigeria to promote their fading football careers because they see many SE players here doing the same…..mtchew

If Djibouti League is the same as the Turkish league, then England League 2 is as good as the Spanish la Liga. Lolzzzz. Make we invite this guy to the Super Eagles lolzzzz ZA Zip!
Heaven bless all Djibouti based Super Eagles players.
Going by what intelligent observers say, this Emmanuel Osadebe will walk straight into the Super Eagles main squad. He is good.
What are you smoking bro? Are you saying that a 25 yrs old playing in a 3rd-tier league in England will walk straight into SE team in a position where Premier league stars plays?

It was Bright Aromimawe Okokobioko of Sports FM radio that said so. He said he has been tracking Emmanuel since his days at Cambridge United, Gillingham and Newport County. He was deadly in those clubs.

I checked this dude out on You-tube, there is absolutely no way this player makes the Nigeria CHAN team, talk less of making the Super Eagles.
It is the most ludicrous thing I have heard in a while. Every Tom, Dick & Harry want to play for the SE. Anyway, it is ok to dream.
Calvin Bassey have set the bar high for Players who want to switch to Nigeria.. SE standards a High and if you are not on Bassey, Olise and Udogie level then abeg we no need you again or else you are like Didier Drogba a late bloomer if not improve you league standing Mid table team going up in the big 5 leagues in Europe or top team in big 7 league if you like in Europe and are playing Europa League. this must be minimum requirements. those days of George Abbey and co are over!. SE standards are high and current Youth developement structures are producing players of the ilk of Osimehn!
