SFFL Showtime Coed Flag Football League organisers have said that the ongoing session x league, tagged ‘Showtime Sunday,’ currently going on at Meadow Hall School, Alma Beach Estate, Elegushi, Lekki, Lagos, with 10 teams is geared towards promoting Flag football Sport and also engaging youths to be more productive in the society through Sports.
The ongoing SFFL Showtime Coed Flag Football leave which have over 50 men and women’s players, representing different clubs sides in the league has been highly entertaing with officiating also been at top notch.
As the league enters it’s third week, Spartans still leads the league log.
According to the organisers of the SFFL Coed Flag Football League the turn out of spectators on every match day have brought lots of glamour and awareness to the league.
The Commisoner of SFFL Coed Flag Football League, Adejumo Adebare, said the league games has so far been outstanding as various teams are poised to outshine there opponents on every match day to get more points that would put them on top of the league table.
Adebare stated that all hands are on deck to ensure the SFFL coed Flag Football League gets high level standard officiaing that is required in Flag Football Sport.
“The ongoing SFFL Coed Flag Football League which holds every Sunday has been entertaining and exciting. Teams work hard every match day to win there games .I am delighted that Flag Football is getting more participation of youths .Club owners in the league are working round the clock to make there teams get the required assistance to raise the level of there games The turn out of Spectators on every match day indicates the sport has gotten more followership .Our focus is to keep providing the plathform for youths to horn there skills in Flag football.The awareness of the Sport through the SFFL league has been alarming ,” he said.
The 10 teams in the league are Titans, Warriors, Dragons, LA Flag, Spartans, Mavericks, Raptors, Outlaws, Panthers and Rebels.
The 2023 season of the SFFL Showtime Coed Flag Football League will end December 10.
