Gift Orban scored two goals as Lyon recorded a dramatic 4-3 comeback win against Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 on Friday night.
Orban, who came on in the 59th minute for his first league game this season, scored in the 63rd and 72nd minute to complete the fightback.
When Orban came on to the pitch Lyon were 3-1 down before former Arsenal star Aisley Maitland-Niles pulled a goal back to make it 3-2 on 61 minutes.
Orban then made it 3-3 just two minutes after Maitland-Niles reduced the deficit.
Then in the 72nd minute Orban grabbed what proved to be the winner for Lyon.
Lyon went into the game against Strasbourg on the back of back-to-back league defeats to Rennes and AS Monaco.
The 22-year-old Nigerian striker managed just one goal in 13 league appearances for Lyon last season.
The win took Lyon up to 11th place in the league table.
