Bruno Onyemaechi has won Boavista Player of the Month award for December, reports Completesports.com.
Onyemaechi won the highest number of votes to beat other contenders to the individual accolade.
“It’s not just about this award. It’s about the commitment, the team’s effort, the good work we do in the games, even when we don’t get a good result” he told the club’s official website.
” Of course I’m happy to win this award, but the most important thing is the game against Arouca, which we really want to win”.

The left-back stressed the importance of Saturday’s clash against FC Arouca.
“Every game is a final for us, every point matters. We are focused on getting back to winning ways. It is important to give our fans their first home win. They always support us, whether it is cold or rainy. It is the most important thing for us,” he added.
The Nigeria international also addressed the issue of the different positions he has occupied on the pitch this season, showing his availability to fulfil any role assigned by the coach.
“I feel comfortable playing in various roles, whether in defence, midfield or attack. I am ready for whatever is needed, the most important thing is to be available to help the team achieve its objectives,” he stated.
