Henry Onyekuru has pulled out of Nigeria’s friendly encounter against Ukraine next week Tuesday at the Dnipro Arena Kyiv over resident permit challenge , Completesports.com reports.
Onyekuru, Completesports.com learnt is yet to get a resident card in France following his move to Monaco hence the need for him to opt out of the game.
The winger has made three league appearances for Monaco following his transfer from Everton.
Onyekuru is the third player to pull out of the game after Wilfred Ndidi and Kenneth Omeruo were ruled out as a result of injury and work permit demands.
Four other players; Anderson Esiti, Bryan Idowu, Josh Maja and Emmanuel Dennis have been added to the squad by Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr.
Part of the Eagles squad to Ukraine will fly out from Abuja Friday while the overseas-based are expected to fly to Kyiv from their respective abodes.

It would have been nice to see Onyekuru in action against Ukraine next week however he does need to sort out his paperwork.
I believe other available players will do an equally sterling job.
When Henry returns, he needs to work very hard to cement a position in the Super Eagles.
For all his talents, the Monaco man still lodges in the periphery of the squad having played bit part roles in the last Afcon, much to the frustration of many fans.
Hopefully, his time will come for a prolonged run of games for Nigeria in the not so distant future.
