Nigeria forward Henry Onyekuru bagged an assist as Galatasaray secured a hard fought 3-2 away win against Caykur Rizespor in their Super Lig clash on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
Caykur Rizespor paraded Nigerian trio, Chidozie Awaziem, Azubuike Okechukwu and Aminu Umar from the start to finish in the encounter.
Fathi Terim’s maintained top spot in the table with 66 points from 34 matches.
Algerian midfielder Sofiane Feghouli opened scoring for Galatasaray in the ninth minute after he was teed up Onyekuru.
The hosts rallied back and got the equaliser through Vedat Muri on the stroke of half time.
Umar gave them the lead for the first time in the game in the 74th minute.
It was his fifth goal in 25 league appearances for Caykur Rizespor this season.
The game ended in dramatic fashion with Mbaye Diagne scoring twice in stoppage time to hand Galatasaray all three points.
Onyekuru who was on target in the Istanbul derby against Besiktas last week has scored 13 goals in 29 Turkish top-flight games so far this season.
He was on from start to finish in the highly entertaining encounter.
Awaziem and Okechukwu played the entire duration of the game, while Umar was replaced by Marwane Saadane deep into stoppage time.
