Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka missed out on winning Brentford’s Man of the Match award in Saturday’s Premier League game against West Ham.
Onyeka was nominated for the award following his impressive display in the hard fought 3-2 win against the Hammers.
He provided the assist for Brentford’s opening goal scored by Neal Maupay.

After the completion of the voting, Onyeka finished fourth with 11.3 per cent.
Nathan Collins emerged winner with 35.2 per cent of the votes, Maupay was second with 30 per cent while Mathias Jensen was third with 23.5 per cent.
It was Onyeka’s ninth appearance for Brentford in the Premier League this season and also his assist against West Ham was his first for the campaign.
Meanwhile, Brentford have now won three straight games after struggling in the early part of the season.
