Also in action for Genk was Onuachu’s compatriot Cyriel Dessers who was brought on in the 78th minute.
The win saw Genk end a run of six consecutive games without victory (three defeats, three draws).
They climb to second position on 42 points and are nine points behind leaders Club Brugge.
And in the Czech Republic Peter Olayinka scored and had an assist as Slavia Prague hammered FC Fastar Zlin 6-2 away.

I know bfor Belgium league comes to an end u might score more than 30 goals which is gona be world class records to any Nigerian footballer across the world. Kudos Paul Onuachu
Onuachu unfortunately puts Dessers in his shadow. It must have consequences for the latter’s career. Cyrille Dessers is well advised to find another club where he can get rrgular starts and score goals rather than languish on the reserve bench.
@Ako Amadi… Onuachu will leave at season’s end and Dessers will take over.
22 plenty o. Keep it going tall man.
where are the Paul Onuachu naysayers… this guy is a poacher and an asset but Gernot Rohr is yet to figure it out… we dey your back carry go Paulinho!
With the amount of goals Longinus Onuachu has scored and the enviable average of 0.99 in every next match, I will be very disappointed not to see him move to any of the top 3 clubs in the top 5 leagues. Congratulations Onuachu goals as you keep improving on those grey areas.
NICE ONE ONUACHU, KEEP SCORING THOSE GOALS, IF HE CAN SUSTAIN THIS MOMENTUM I SEE HIM BREAKING SOME RECORDS AT THE END OF THE SEASON. KEEP FIRING ONUACHU, THE SKY IS YOUR BEGINNING.
