Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu is closing in on a move to Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor, according to reports.
Onuachu has reportedly agreed to join Trabzonspor on a four-year contract.
The former Turkish Super Lig champions are however still locked in discussion with his Sky Bet Championship, Southampton to sort out the deal.

The striker was close to joining Ligue 1 side, Metz last Friday but the deal fell through.
Onuachu moved to Southampton from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk in January.
The 29-year-old failed to find the net in 12 league appearances for the Saints.
He is yet to make an appearance for the South Coast club this season.

This is great. Super Eagles return is near for Onuachu nachu chu chu X. He is the best Super Eagles striker. This move to Turkey is good for Onuachu. He will score plenty goals.
@Ignatius Abo In as much as I admire your optimisim regarding Super Eagles Players I would have to disagree with you regarding Paul he is way below the pecking order now and I don’t see him breaking into SE unless something drastic happens in his career for the better but, he also proved us right about EPL being a hrdle to far for him because of lack of pace. If Chuba Akpom cannot make the squad right now then Paul certainly cannot.
@Ugo, you are one of the few people who still make me comment on Nigerian football. May you walk tall among dwarfs.
Bro, Onuachu is far better than Chuba Akpom.
Even Gift Orban and Victor Boniface will not come close to Onuachu.
Just see how many goals Onuachu nachu chu chu X scored in Belgium . Only Erlin Halaand can score more.
Onuachu has no rival in the Super Eagles. Maybe Osihmen can be better.
Just wait until Onuachu destroys Turkish league. The defenders in Turkey are already depressed just hearing Onuachu is coming.
Let us learn the shun mediocrity. Onuachu is the best.
But if he was so good he could have made it at Southampton is all I am saying.
He lacks that real pace to make him very dangerous. Yes he will make it in Turkey I hope but even then when it comes to a player you need to come in and change the game when the match is tight I really don’t think Onuachu is that guy.
@Ugo, even Victor Osihmen will struggle in this Southampton. Joe Aribo struggles in this club. Aribo is the best attacking midfielder in Africa. If Aribo were in Manchester City, he will do well.
Did Drogba have pace? Does Wilfred Bony or Olivier Giroud have pace? In the right clubs these players did well.
Leave story, Onuachu is far better than all the strikers invited for this weekend game apart from Osihmen.
Heaven bless Onuachu nachu chu chu X, Aribo the robust boat and all deserving Super Eagles striker.
Okay o lol. Anyway I wish Onuachu all the best.
