Former FC Midtylland manager Glen Riddersholm believes his former striker Paul Onuachu can flourish at Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
Onuachu played under Riddersholm at Midtylland between 2012 and 2015.
The Nigeria international was linked with a move to a number of big European clubs last summer after a remarkable campaign with Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk.
The 27-year-old registered 33 goals and 38 league appearances for the Smurfs.

“Yes, I’m absolutely convinced he is. I’m not saying he can play solid for those clubs, but he can play a significant role,” Riddersholm told Bold.dk.
“For some of the clubs, he wants to be a squad player, where he has to have a few minutes, because they play many matches in one season.
“The question is also whether he wants to be a solid starter every round or whether he has to take new steps. I can not answer that,” the 49-year-old continued.
“But he has some eye-catching core competencies, which means that it does not surprise me that there are such big clubs in play.
“Being able to change matches is super important, and Paul has some obvious qualities that are nice for a coach to have at his disposal.”

If only Egueyeye knows how to use Pual in a more dynamic fashion, Nigeria flag would have been among those to be hosted this summer during the FIFA World Cup. He could not even use Nigeria ‘young Amoo’. What a shame!!
Onuachu was injured bro!
Onuachu is actually the player Liverpool need as plan-B. He won’t bench any of the forwards but can be a good impact sub to connect headers from Trent and Robertson’s precise deliveries.
I think he must join Atletico Madrid because he will an excellent playmakers who can help him to score more and more goals also he will find a formidable coach he can develop his standard to a high quality player like Salah, Mane, Mpabe.
