Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo was on target for Kasimpasa who lost 2-1 to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig on Friday.
It was Omeruo’s first goal in the Turkish elite league this season.
Galatasaray’s two goals were scored by Côte d’Ivoire star forward Wilfried Zaha, who has now taken his tally in the Turkish league to three goals in eight appearances.
The former Crystal Palace forward opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and doubled Galatasaray’s lead in the 51st minute.
Omeruo then pulled a goal back for Kasimpasa on 54 minutes which was not enough as Galatasaray held on to secure the three points.

The last time the Super Eagles clashed with Côte d’Ivoire at the AFCON was in the quarter-finals of the 2013 edition.
Emmanuel Emenike and Sunday Mba scored for the Eagles while the late Cheick Tiote was on target for the Ivorians.
