Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo is keen to play at another World Cup, reports Completesports.com.
Omeruo made his first World Cup appearance in Brazil 2014 at a very young age (20 years).
The centre-back was also part of Super Eagles’ squad four years later in Russia.
The three-time African champions agonisingly missed out on place at the last edition of the mundial hosted by Qatar.
Jose Peseiro’s side face a gruelling 10-match campaign to secure a place at the 2026 finals.

Omeruo and his teammates will host Lesotho in the first of the 10 games at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Thursday.
They will also face the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Huye Stadium, Butare on Sunday.
“Most of us in the team still remember how painful it was not to be part of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar,” he told ESPN.
“The memory lingers but then, that is gone. This is a fresh opportunity and we all want to be at the next one.”
“This is a serious matter for us. We are working hard to do what we have to do to get to the next World Cup. We’ve played Lesotho and Zimbabwe in the past.
“The important thing is to stick to our game plan and take the game very seriously because we have to win both games.”

YOU Are not making sense bro
Go back to 2009 and take a good look at Omeruo at the under 17 World Cup hosted by Nigeria. He looked so young.
The players who were accused of cheating was his defence partner forgot his name and the number 8 He was called little Messi.Omeruo was one of those believed to have registered for the competition with their real details.
Thence he’s still active today playing as captain for both club and country respectively.
Omeruo is not as fast as required for the philosophy Peseiro is trying to develop… it requires very fast defence and swift defenders…
