Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise has been named in France’s Under-21 squad ahead of their games against Faroe Island and Northern Ireland.
Palace confirmed Olise’s call-up on their website on Thursday.
Olise will link-up with France at Under-21 level for the first time in his career after a sensational season so far with Palace.

Since arriving in summer, Olise has scored four goals and earned seven assists from 25 appearances, winning the club’s Player of the Month award twice.
The 19-year-old will be in contention to face the Faroe Islands on March 24th and Northern Ireland on March 28th.
His current international experience comes from a spell with France Under-18s, with whom he played twice.
However, he is eligible to represent the French senior national team, England, Nigeria and Algeria.

Going , Going, Gone!
He might honour the call to the under 21 when he rejected Nigeria first team call up. Hmmmmmmmm….
Only one person is eligible to play for 4 different country..na wa o this life no balance tru tru
I hope pinnick and co can now rest
Africans selling out since local natives fishing and bathing in the Niger River spared Mungo Park’s life… When he went back to Europe he told his people he has discovered a river in Western Africa called the River Niger.
Michael Olise being called up for France U-21 has the finger print of Patrick Viera all over it. A guy who will still go on to make insane amount of money in life. If we develop our local league properly Nigeria will always have young players 10times better than a Michael Olise! No shaking we have Akin Amoo… his U-17 team mate Olesegun is another nimble-footed player but last I know of him, he is at Krasnador, Russia.
Let’s have a blue print for regional U-15 to U-17 in the six geopolitical zones and see talent pouring out everywhere. To unearth insane talents in Nigeria we need TV coverage and competitions for National Principals Cup. Back in those days… a certain Gray’s a International School Kaduna were the best academical side in Nigeria for years. A lot of players went through that platform.
U have said it all
Even if they cap him 100 times at under 21 level he can still switch Nationality at senior level so this means nothing. Besides he has represented France at youth level before under 18.. una dey para for nothing he is using this international break to stay fit smart boy!
No bad blood at all. Choosing France over Nigeria should teach us great lesson.
How I wish Amoo Akinkunmi can make a don’t sense of Olise’s call up.
Let’s develop our own.
I don’t know why they are praising this guy on social media
We have players that are beta than this guy in Nigeria
I have high hope for amoo. It’s time we forget about olise and eze.they obviously do not want to play for Nigeria. Let us throw our weight behind amoo.
We move!
