Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun helped newly crowned Scottish champions Rangers, hold Celtic to a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s Old Firm derby as he provided the assist for his side’s equaliser, Completesports.com reports.
The draw means Rangers are yet to taste defeat after 33 league games played this season (28 wins, five draws).
Also in action for Rangers was Balogun’s compatriot Joe Aribo who was also in the starting eleven.

Both players were replaced in the second with Balogun going off on 56 minutes and Aribo in the 77th minute.
It was a return to domestic action for Rangers who were knocked out of the Europa League by Czech Republic club Slavia Prague.
Rangers drew level in the 38th minute through Alfredo Morelos who nodded in from close range a headed pass from Balogun off a corner-kick.
Celtic had taken the lead through Mohamed Elyounoussi who broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute.
