Slavia Prague’s Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka says the side must learn from the 2-0 home loss to Borussia Dortmund in their UEFA Champions League clash and focus on the next game against Barcelona, reports Completesports.com.
The hosts put up a brave fight in the game but suffered their first defeat in the group with Morocco defender, Achraf Hakimi scoring both goals.
Olayinka believes the experience gained from the game will be crucial as they progress in the competition.
“We must learn from this for the next match, take it as a lesson,” Olayinka told reporters after the game.
The Czech Republic outfit started their group stage campaign with a 1-1 away draw against Inter Milan at the San Siro.
Olayinka scored Slavia Prague’s only goal of the game, with Nicolo Barella equalising for the host late on.
Slavia Prague occupy third position in Group F behind Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona.
They host Barcelona in their next game of the competition on October 23.
