USA-based Nigerian coach, Benjamin Okaro, has returned to the Nigeria domestic football, rejoining second tier Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Nnewi United, Completesports.com reports.
Okaro, a USSF and Massaschuttes Licensed coach,is making a second stint as the Head Coach of the club following his 2018/2019 spell.
Okaro’s first assignment on return to Nnewi United will be a the 2022 Aiteo Cup Round of 64 fixture against Akure City FC on Saturday, July 30, at Warri Stadium.

He replaces Fancy Ewulu, a former Flying Eagles goalkeeer and Assistant Coach.
“Okaro has returned. This is the much I can tell you for now,” a senior official of Nnewi United told Completesports.com on condition of anonymity about the reappointment of the former FRCN Breaker Waves FC, Enugu and Rangers International midfielder.
The former Green Eagles midfielder also confirmed his latest job when Completesports.com contacted him on Friday.
“Yeah, we’re in Warri right now. We left Oba early this (Friday July 29) morning for our Aiteo Cup match against Akure City FC on Saturday,” Okaro said.
