Remo Stars coach Daniel Ogunmodede has lauded Satellite television platform Startimes as they prepare for their live coverage of his team’s Npfl match against Akwa United on Sunday, November at Eket Township Stadium.
This will be the first match to be broadcast live by Startimes after they signed the deal with Npfl.
The deal is reportedly worth 1 billion Naira and will run for five years.
Ogunmodede took to his personal X handle to laud the Satellite television broadcast service.
“Excited to be part of a distinctive journey and the unfolding of a new era, actively playing our roles in advancing the NPFL. Aligned with ‘Startimes’ vision, we anticipate enhanced opportunities to propel the league to unprecedented heights,” he wrote.
The aforementioned match will be broadcast on Beta Sports Channel 244.
The Sky Blue Stars are currently number three on the Npfl table after accruing 15 points from seven games.
Akwa United are all the way down in 18th position as they have just seven points after eight fixtures.
