The Technical Adviser of Enugu Rangers, Gbenga Ogunbote says the ‘tough Group B’ in which the Flying Antelopes were pooled in the recent CAF Confederation Cup draw will toughen the team, reports Completesports.com.
Rangers are in Group B with Salitas of Burkina-Faso and Tunisia’s duo of Etoile du Sahel and CS Sfaxien.
“I think all the four teams in the group (B) have equal chances of qualifying for the knock out stage”, Ogunbote who is called ‘Soccer Oracle’ by his admirers told Completesports.com.
“It is indeed a tough group as you said. And I only believe it will toughen us. It will make us work harder.
“Yes, there are two Tunisian clubs in our group; Etoile Sahel and CS Sfaxien, who who are four-time winners, apiece, of the competition. Every team that reached this stage has pedigree and this means it won’t be easy for anyone.

“Any team can go through. So we must work hard and believe in God so that our efforts will be rewarded.”
Ogunbote reached the CAF Confederation Cup final with Sunshine Stars and is looking to go one step up this time around with Rangers in the same competition.
CAF Confederation Cup champions will receive $1.25m prize money.
