Huddersfield have been boosted by the news hooker Adam O’Brien has penned a new three-year deal with the club.
The 25-year-old has impressed since arriving from Bradford Bulls in 2017, going on to make 43 appearances for the Claret and Gold, and the club have moved quickly to secure his future.

O’Brien is now tied to the club until at least the end of the 2022 season, and hopes to help the Giants win some silverware during that time, with Grand Final glory being the ultimate aim.
“I’m really happy, I had a year left to run so for the club to come in and offer me a three-year extension is great,” said O’Brien. “It means I can concentrate on my rugby solely and to be secure and know you’re going to play your rugby here for the next four seasons is excellent.
I can crack on for the season now. “My major expectation for the next four years is obvious – we want to get to finals and win silverware. “I want to play in the big games – semi-finals, finals and at Old Trafford.
We’ve set our expectations high in this camp and we know what we want to achieve, and I think we have a good chance of doing that.”
