Super Eagles striker Uche Nwofor has undergone a successful surgery on his left knee reports Completesports.com.
The surgery took place at the Saada Specialist Hospital in Algiers it was also gathered.
The 27 year old striker who scored four goals in the Algerian Ligue for JS Kabylie prior to his injury has since been ruled out for the rest of the season.
“We bless the name of the Lord for a successful surgery and personally, I thank everyone for their prayers and support. My recovery begins with immediate effect,” Nwofor wrote beneath a picture of him on his official Facebook Page.
Meanwhile, JS Kabylie, doctor club, Ahmed Djadjoua revealed that the former Enugu Rangers striker will start running seven months from now.
“Two days after the operation, the player will resume with rehabilitation,”Djadjoua told the club’s official website.
