Remo Stars Ladies maintained top spot in Group A of Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL, following a comfortable 2-0 win over Dannaz Ladies at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
Kafayat Bashiru and Bolaji Olamide got the goals for Remo Stars in the game.
Olamide has now scored eight goals in six league appearances for the Ikenne club this season.
Holders Edo Queens also maintained their unbeaten start to the season courtesy of a 2-0 win over Confluence Queens.
Sadiat Adebiyi and Emem Essien were on target for the visitors.
Nasarawa Amazons recorded a 2-0 victory over Heartland Queens with Janet Akekeromowe and Olushola Shobowale getting the goals.
In Group B, Bayelsa Queens rallied to beat Naija Ratels 2-1 at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
Adama Nwachukwu gave Naija Ratels the lead in the game.
Dooshima Tarnum and Delight Isaac netted for Bayelsa Queens.
