Lokoja based team Confluence Queens have pipped Edo Queens 1-0 in an NWFL (Nigeria Women Football League) Super Six game on Wednesday, June 7 at the Steven Keshi Stadium.
Osigwe ChukwuAmaka netted the only goal of the encounter in the 56th minute to give Confluence Queens the maximum points.
All efforts by Edo Queens to leveled parity proved abortive.
In the other game, Bayelsa Queens defeated Robo Queens 1-0 at the same venue.
Sabastine scored the winning goal for Bayelsa Queens in the 57th minute of the game.
Edo Queens topped Group B of the regular NWFL season with 25 points from 12 games while Confluence Queens emerged from the same group with 21 points.
In the regular NWFL season Bayelsa Queens were second in Group A with 25 points while Robo Queens were second in Group B with 22 points.
With the defeat Robo Queens have been knocked out of the Super Six.
