Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has signed a new three-year contract at South African Premier Soccer League club, Chippa United.
Chippa United also announced the goalie has been appointed the club’s new captain.
“We are pleased to announce that Stanley Nwabali has signed an improved three-year contract with Chippa United FC,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
“We are incredibly proud of Stanley’s dedication and commitment to the club. His leadership on and off the field has been exemplary, and we believe he is the right person to guide our team through the challenges ahead. With this been said Stanley will be our new team captain for the upcoming season.

“We wish Stanley continued success in his career, both in domestic competitions and on the international stage. We look forward to achieving great things together in the seasons to come.
The 28-year-old linked up with the Chilli Boys from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) outfit, Katsina United in 2022.
Nwabali has made 32 league appearances for Chippa United.
He has also established himself as Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper.
