Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has dropped a major hint about his future, reports Completesports.com.
Nwabali has been linked with a move away from South African club Chippa United after impressing for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The 27-year-old also helped Chippa United to maintain their top-flight status, keeping 12 clean sheets in 29 games.
The Chilli Boys ended the campaign in 12th place on the table with 34 points from 30 games.
“Well, everyone would love to leave because when you are in some position, you need to grow,” Nwabali was quoted by FAR POST.
“Like everyone in my position would like to grow more. I’m talking about clubs higher than this [bigger than Chippa United] because I have been giving my all to my club this season.
“I just wish to have another challenge at some other place.”
Some of the teams interested in Nwabali’s services include El Ettifaq in Saudi and Sky Bet Championship club Queens Park Rangers.
