Schalke’s Alexander Nubel has emerged as a potential summer transfer target for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The Germany Under-21 international goalkeeper has stalled over whether to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Royal Blues and that has led to interest from England, Italy and Spain.
However, Bayern are thought to be one of the frontrunners to sign the talented Nubel, with the player set to become a free agent when his contract runs out next summer.
Schalke might be forced to cash in on Nubel before his deal runs out and Bayern could look to take advantage as they look for a long-term replacement for Manuel Neuer.
