John Noble has said Enyimba will bring CAF Champions League glory back to Nigeria again.
Noble stated this after Enyimba were won the NPL Super Six playoffs and also qualified for next season’s CAF Champions League.
The Peoples Elephant remain the only Nigerian club who have won Africa’s elite club competition, achieving the feat in 2003 and 2004.
Finidi George’s side held former league champions Rivers United to a 1-1 draw on the final day of the NPL playoffs on Sunday, which was enough to land the title.
Enyimba, Remo and Rivers United all finished with nine points each but the Aba-based club emerged winners on better goal difference.

While Enyimba and Remo will play in the CAF Champions League, Rivers will feature in the Confederation Cup.
Speaking after they were crowned champions, Noble described it as a dream come true.
“I feel happy it has been a dream come true as a child to hold the Nigerian League title now. We motivated ourselves because a lot of things happened in the course of the season but we didn’t allow it affect us.
“It has been a fantastic season for us, though we didn’t start well but here we are today as champions.
“We will go there (Champions League) and bring another trophy for Nigeria.”
