Heartland technical adviser Emmanuel Amuneke has saluted his youthful side and is optimistic they will improve in the second half of the season.
The Naze Millionaires struggled at the start of the campaign but have managed to put together a number of impressive results.
The former Nigeria Premier Football (NPFL) champions finished the first stanza in 14th position with 22 points.

“I’m proud of the young squad we paraded in the first half of the season,” Amuneke told Heartland’s media.
“As you all know, I am a product of the same system, after I left secondary school I was giving an opportunity at Julius Berger which has made me who I am today, I think the Nigerian culture, we want to be big immediately and have good result.
“We at Heartland are focused on developing our players to grow, for instance the former African Player of the Year was a product of myself and Emeka Amadi in the U-17, within five years he was one of the best players.
“I think I find it necessary that we make a place where we continue to encourage our young players because it’s through those channels that they go through that will make them mature and be much better player.”
