Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote said more efforts would be geared towards ensuring the goal scoring rate of the team improves.
The Oluyole Warriors defeated Plateau United 2-1 in their opening game of the season.
In his post match interview after the encounter decided on Saturday at the Lekan Salami Stadium, coach Ogunbote, insisted that more still needed to be done on that particular area.

Although he expressed happiness that his lads were able to score twice, showing that there is an improvement, the gaffer believes his team should be scoring well, considering the way chances are created.
“Before now, we have been crying we have not been able to score goals, but now that we’ve started with two goals, we have to improve on it,”Ogunbote told the club’s media.
The 3SC chief tactician hinted that his team would have scored more goals but for the anxiety on the part of his players.
“I was thinking we would get some goals, even before the first goal came but unfortunately, you can see the anxiety in the players. The anxiety in my boys robbed us the opportunity of scoring goals before the first one”.
“Be it as it may, it wasn’t a bad one, give it to the team, we can always improve on what we have built”, stated the ex Sunshine Stars coach, who expressed happiness that his team was able to pick the three maximum points.
