Shooting Stars goalkeeper Mustapha Lawal has said the Oluyole Warriors will be ready to challenge for the title in the second half of the season.
Gbenga Ogunbote’s side defeated Kwara United 1-0 in their last game of the first stanza.
The Oluyole Warriors finished the first half of the campaign in third position.

“We expect a more challenging second round but we will be ready to give it all it takes,” he told the club’s media.
“Sure, there will be more challenges for us in the second round, but we will also be well prepared for it and I believe God will see us through”.
The soft spoken goalie kept nine clean sheets in the first round.
Mustapha expressed delight with his impressive displays.
“I feel very very excited and I thank God for this. It has been God, there is no other magic behind it other than God”, he added.
