Jonas Emmanuel gave Tornadoes the lead five minutes after the break, while Vincent Okeke equalised for Insurance on the hour mark.

In Maiduguri, El-kanemi Warriors held Plateau United to a 2-2 draw.
El-kanemi Warriors took the lead through Victor Dawa after 11 minutes, while Gafar Saka doubled the advantage 10 minutes after the break.
The hosts rallied through goals Ibrahim Mustapha and Sama’ila Bello.
