Rivers United head coach Finidi George says it is important for his team to move on from the defeat against Ikorodu City.
The Port Harcourt lost 2-1 to their hosts at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Sunday.
It was Rivers United’s first defeat in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.
Finidi declared that they can’t dwell too much on the loss .
“There were two moments in the game which led to the goals, as they say in football you have to concentrate for the whole duration,” Finidi stated in a post-match interview.
“We will go back and see where we get it wrong.”
Rivers United will host Bayelsa United in their next NPFL game on Sunday.
