Rivers United head coach, Finidi George believes his side can come out with a positive result in their next game against Akwa United.
Finidi’s side will be guests of the Promise Keepers at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Wednesday.
Rivers United will look to return to winning ways again after last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Enyimba in Aba.
The gaffer, who was happy with his side’s performance against his former club despite the defeat is hopeful a repeat will guarantee a favourable result in Uyo.
“I think that if we play this way, we are going to win. So, I am quite optimistic,” Enyimba told the club’s media.
“If we can replicate this same performance in Uyo, I think we will win or at least come back with something. I’m quite positive.”
Rivers United currently occupy fourth position on the table with 38 points from 24 games.
