Sikiru Alimi bagged a brace as Remo Stars claimed bragging rights in the South West derby courtesy of a 3-0 win over Shooting Stars in Ikenne on Wednesday.
Ahmed Akinleye opened scoring for the Sky Blues in the 20th minute.
Alimi doubled the advantage from the penalty spot five minutes before the break.
The forward scored his second of the game three minutes after the hour mark.
Shooting Stars are yet to beat Remo Stars on the road in the league.
At the Eket Stadium, Akwa United recorded their first win of the season after beating Gombe United 1-0.
