Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has blamed ill-luck for his side’s defeat to Remo Stars.
The Flying Antelopes went down to a 2-1 defeat against their hosts at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Sunday.
Kazeem Ogunleye gave Rangers the lead in the eighth minute.
Remo Stars however rallied to win the game through goals from Seun Ogunribide and Sikiru Alimi.

Ilechukwu, who described the encounter as a good advertisement for the Nigeria Premier Football League claimed his side was not lucky on the day.
“This was not a sad loss for me but a great match displayed by both side with the much lucky side carrying the day. We go back home to work on the noticed challenges as we continue to push to realize our set targets, ” the young tactician told the club’s official website.
“We were positive coming into this encounter but that is football for you. Win some, lose some. It is still early days and we hope to bounce back positively from this loss.”
Rangers will entertain Niger Tornadoes in their matchday three encounter at the Awka City Stadium on Wednesday.
Remo Stars will be away to Bayelsa United for their next game.
