Kano Pillars assistant coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro has described Abia Warriors a “formidable opponent”.
The Sai Masu Gida will host Imama Amapakabo’s side at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Saturday (today).
“Facing Abia Warriors, considering their rich vein of form and with Imama as coach, is a tough task not just for us but for any team in the league,” Yaro Yaro told the club’s media.

However, he remains optimistic that the Pyramid City side will secure maximum points and build on their 2-1 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in their o
rescheduled matchday 20 fixture on Wednesday.
“Abia Warriors have been a tough side, playing fantastic football under Imama, whom I respect a lot because of his style of play,” Yaro Yaro added.
“With the right attitude from the players and the technical crew’s input, I believe we will triumph again, just as we did against El-Kanemi Warriors.”
Kano Pillars currently occupy ninth position on the league table with 32 points from 23 matches, while Abia Warriors sir fourth position with 36 points.
